Best free door to door sales app: what free really covers
No free plan holds a whole crew's list. Walklists Starter covers one user and 500 addresses, SalesRabbit Lite covers one user, and Lead Scout's free plan stops at 100 prospects while allowing unlimited users. CanvassLite has no free plan.
As read on October 30, 2026, the next step is Walklists Team at $19 a user a month, billed monthly inside a 12-month term, or CanvassLite Starter at $99 a month, billed monthly, a flat price for up to 1,500 addresses.

Walklists, Lead Scout and SalesRabbit Lite: what each free option caps
Walklists says its Starter plan is free forever, with no card and no term, and lists free geocoding, GPS routes and PDF walk lists. On its field sales page Starter holds 500 addresses for one user. On its political page it holds 500 contacts, 3 walklists and 1 campaign, with unlimited volunteers.
Lead Scout's free plan asks for no card and holds 100 prospects and 10 property data pulls, with mobile app access. Lead Scout says its property data comes from third parties and can be inaccurate.
SalesRabbit says Lite is a free account, not a trial. It runs on iOS and Android only, and leads not modified for 90 days are deleted. SalesRabbit offers no free trial of its paid plans.
CanvassLite's 14-day trial and what it holds
CanvassLite has no free plan, but its 14-day trial holds up to 10,000 households under its terms. Its pricing page says no credit card is required. The terms give the trial Growth-level access with up to 15 volunteers. Per its terms, adding households and logging visits stops when it ends, and data is kept 60 days, then deleted.
Other trials are shorter or need a card. Walklists runs a 7-day trial of its paid plans that needs a card, and Ecanvasser a 7-day trial that charges automatically when it ends. SPOTIO offers demos and pilots for qualified prospects instead. The CanvassLite free trial guide covers its terms.
Which free option fits which buyer, and when a spreadsheet is enough
- Walklists Starter for one rep on 500 addresses.
- Lead Scout's free plan for a team checking 100 prospects.
- SalesRabbit Lite for one rep working from a phone.
- CanvassLite for a crew with more than one rep and a list past 500 addresses: Starter is $99 a month for up to 1,500 addresses.
Knockio's pricing page states no trial and lists no free plan, but it is month-to-month; Knockio alternatives lists the other paid options, and the best door to door sales app guide compares six.
For one or two reps, a spreadsheet and a map can be enough: Google Sheets holds up to 20 million cells and works offline, and Google says not to import more than 2,000 rows into My Maps.
