Smaller crews and lists shift the break-even. CanvassLite Starter, $99 a month for up to 1,500 addresses, costs less than Prospect from 4 reps, because four users pay Knockio's 1 to 4 user rate of $25 each. Growth costs less than Knockio's own Growth plan, $45 a user with 5 or more users and $60 for 1 to 4, from 4 reps.

Knockio's four plans are Prospect for field sales, Growth as the all-in-one, Organize for field service and Scale for 100 or more users at custom pricing. Organize is $30 a user a month with 5 or more users, or $35 for 1 to 4, and leaves out territory management and route planning. Its pricing page also has a Quick Estimate calculator, which opens on one user at Prospect, $25 a month, billed monthly.

Contracts, setup and seasonal crews

Knockio says no contracts, prorated billing and no setup fees, with every plan month to month and no cancellation fee, and it lets a team start with one user. CanvassLite's monthly plans renew each month, and its terms say a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; a crew can instead buy the Season Pass at $399, paid once, for 12 months and up to 10,000 addresses.

A pest-control branch manager whose summer crew of 8 to 15 reps turns over every season sits across the break-even point: Prospect costs less up to 9 reps and Growth from 10. Growth's flat price carries no per-seat charge for added reps, though its terms set household and volunteer limits. Prices are on CanvassLite pricing.

What each adds on top

Knockio sells an Engage add-on, its phone-number feature, at $15 a number a month, and lists Pre-Knocked Data at 15 cents an address under Prospect. CanvassLite's terms sell DataVault Monthly at $5 a month and Pay Per Restore at $79 one-time. DataVault is its backup feature, listed on some plan tiles and sold as an add-on in the terms, so backup coverage is worth confirming for the plan you pick.

Who should pick which

  • Knockio for a crew under 10 reps on a list over 1,500 addresses, or one that wants pre-knocked address data and no contract.
  • CanvassLite for 10 or more reps on one list of up to 10,000 addresses, for a list of 1,500 or fewer from 4 reps on Starter, or for a one-time seasonal plan.
  • Walklists Team for up to 10 users on a 5,000-address cap, inside a 12-month term.

Knockio's pricing page states no trial, while CanvassLite gives 14 days without a card. More choices are on Knockio alternatives, and the cost for every crew size is on door to door sales software cost.
