The CanvassLite button at the end of this page opens the sign-up for the 14-day trial.

When the 14 days end, write operations, which means adding households and logging visits, are suspended until a paid plan starts. Data is kept 60 days after a trial or subscription ends, with a warning email after 30 days, and is then permanently deleted. The dashboard exports a CSV at any time. The free Campaign Page, CanvassLite's public outreach page, stays online.

The 30-day guarantee and the no-partial-refund rule

CanvassLite's pricing page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans, while its terms say no partial refunds are given for unused time in a billing period, so ask which applies before you pay.

Monthly plans renew each month, and per the terms a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Each plan's limits are on CanvassLite pricing.

Fitting a crew inside the trial's limits

The terms cap the trial at 10,000 households and 15 volunteers. A crew of more than 15 reps would trial with part of the team if reps count as volunteers, which the pages read do not say. Four steps use the 14 days well:

  1. Import the real address list by pasting addresses or uploading a CSV from a CRM, spreadsheet or voter file.
  2. Invite reps by link; volunteers join with just their name.
  3. Log a few days of real visits on the map.
  4. Export the results as a CSV before the trial ends.

Free plans and trials elsewhere

  • Walklists: a Starter plan that is free forever, with no card and no term, for 1 user and 500 addresses; its paid plans carry a 7-day trial that takes a card.
  • Lead Scout: a free plan with no card required, up to 100 prospects and 10 property data pulls.
  • SalesRabbit Lite: a free account for one user on iOS and Android only, where leads not modified for 90 days are deleted. SalesRabbit supports no free trial of its paid plans.
  • SPOTIO has no free trial but offers demos and pilots; Ecanvasser has a 7-day trial and charges automatically when it ends.

CanvassLite's trial suits a crew that wants to test one flat price on its own list with no card. A free plan with no end date suits a single user or a list of 500 addresses; see best free door to door sales app for the full list and is CanvassLite legit for the vendor itself.
